2 small pieces liquorice root
2cm piece ginger bruised
750ml water
2 indian teabags
sugar
milk
Add the liquorice and the ginger to the water and bring to the boil.
Simmer for 3 minute and add the teabags.
Tum off the heat cover and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
Strain and discard the roots.
Serve with sugar and milk to taste.
More medicinal than refreshing but makes a pleasant alternative to many remedies.
