Type: Steamed Halibut Free Cooking Recipe – Fish And Seafoods

Simply good!

Ingredients / Directions
1/2 pound carrots
peeled and julienned
1/4 pound snow peas
cut into 1/4-inch strips
8 scallions
halved
then cut into slices lengthwise
1 1/2 pounds halibut steaks
Salt and ground pepper to taste
6 tbsp butter
melted
2 teaspoon fresh thyme
or 1 teaspoon dry
Lemon wedges Bring some water to a boil in a pan or steamer with a rack and lid. Layer the carrots
snow peas
and scallions evenly on the rack. Place the halibut steaks
in a single layer
on top of the vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. cover and steam for about 7 minutes
or until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. While the fish is cooking
mix the butter and thyme together and set aside.
When done
transfer the vegetables and fish to a warmed platter or serving dishes and pour the butter-thyme mixture over.
Garnish with the lemon wedges.
