Type: Brunch Eggs Casserole Free Cooking Recipe – Pasta


Ingredients / Directions
1 pound breakfast sausage (regular or reduced-fat)

2 cup(s)s milk

6 eggs

1-1/2 teaspoons dry mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon mild curry powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon dillweed

Pepper to taste

2 cup(s)s shredded Cheddar cheese

1 cup(s) fresh or canned sliced mushrooms

1/2 cup(s) chopped onion (optional)

6 slices fresh bread

Brown the sausage in a skillet
stirring until crumbly; drain. Whisk the milk and eggs in a bowl until blended. Whisk in the dry mustard
curry powder
dillweed and pepper. Add the sausage
mushrooms and onion and mix well. Fold in the bread cubes.

Pour the sausage mixture into a baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. You may prepare 1 day in advance and store
in the refrigerator. Bake just before serving.
