Type: Banana Splits Free Cooking Recipe – Dessert

Good stuff!

Ingredients / Directions
Preparation – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 5 minutes

For the fudge sauce:
3 tbsp dark chocolate
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup(s) heavy cream
1/2 cup(s) dark brown sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup

For the banana splits:
4 ripe bananas
12 scoops of ice cream
1/2 cup(s) heavy cream
lightly whipped
12 glace cherries
1/2 cup(s) chopped mixed nuts
toasted
8 fan-shaped wafers

Directions:
Begin by making the fudge sauce: break the chocolate into a pan and add the butter
cream
sugar
and syrup.
Heat gently
stirring
until the ingredients are melted and well blended; remove from the heat
but do not allow to cool completely.

Cut each banana in half lengthwise and place in the banana-split dishes
pushing the halves apart.
Place 2 scoops of ice cream between 2 pieces of banana.
Spoon over the cream
then scatter the cherries on top. Drizzle on the warm sauce
scatter with the nuts
then push in the wafers and serve immediately.
