Type: Overnight Brunch Cake Free Cooking Recipe – Breakfast

Ingredients / Directions
2 cup(s)s sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) granulated sugar
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup(s) buttermilk

Topping
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup(s) chopped walnuts Sift together first five ingredients.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time
beating well after each addition.

Alternately
mix dry ingredients and buttermilk with the creamed mixture. Spread batter in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

In small bowl
combine topping ingredients. Sprinkle over batter. Refrigerate 8 hour(s) or overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.

Makes 12 servings.
